I just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you to all the Honey Pot staff, parents and carers that donated to our Acorns charity collection.

We received a lovely letter and card through the post yesterday and I thought it would be nice to share this with everyone.

Our Pre-school children had a fantastic time joining in with the little ones litter pickers event this afternoon. Massive thank you to The Butts Community Garden team and Walsall Council for their fun and informative afternoon.

World Book Day 2022, seen our nursery filled with some of our favourite characters, including our very own Timothy Pope (Katie) ๐Ÿ”ญ and the Shark (Arabella)๐Ÿฆˆ from Shark In Park.

Thank you Team HP for creating such a fun-filled day for all our little Honey Potters.

We just want to take this opportunity to wish our bumblebees room leader Leanne and her very almost husband Mike, all the love, luck and happiness on their wedding day! We hope you have the best day ever, lots of love Lianne and your HP Family ๐Ÿ’œ ๐Ÿ˜˜ ๐Ÿ‘ฐ๐Ÿป ๐Ÿคต๐Ÿป ๐Ÿ’’ # # #

The Butts Community Garden Thank you so much for giving some of our children (and staff) the opportunity to help out.

Being outdoors, embracing community spirit and celebrating everything that nature has to offer, is a fundamental part of our curriculum. It's great that our children have had the chance to be so hands on.

Thanks again,

Lianne & Team HP x

We just wanted to take this opportunity to say a MASSIVE thank you to Amazon.co.uk for not only sending out a cleaning team to dispose of the mess left behind by thieves/flytippers, but also for the lovely hampers we received from them for the inconvenience caused.

Amazon really went above and beyond to rectify an issue that actually wasn't directly their fault. Just goes to show, that even big fish corporate companies still look out for the small fry. Many thanks, from Lianne and Team HP ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Pancake Day Fun ๐Ÿฅž

We hope all our children and their families have enjoyed some pancake inspired antics today. We definitely joined in with the fun of shrove Tuesday... Big thanks to Karen for demonstrating the best 2021 pancake flip ๐Ÿฅž๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ

Note to parents & carers,

As per government guidance released during this evening's announcement, nurseries will remain open to ALL children.

We look forward to seeing all our HP little ones tomorrow as normal.

Lots of love,

Lianne & Team HP ๐Ÿ’œ

*Letter from Walsall Council for all children due to start reception September 2021*

Dear Parent/Carer,

Admission to Reception and Transfer to Junior School September 2021

Our records show your child is due to begin reception class or transfer to junior school in September 2021.This means that you must apply for reception or junior school place for your child by 15 January 2021.

To do this, you must submit an on-line application through the Primary Admissions web page of Walsall Council website: www.walsall.gov.uk/primary_school_admissions Alternatively, from the front page of the Walsall Council website, follow: Education โ€“ School Admissions โ€“ Primary Admissions (click on Primary Admissions Chalk Board)

You will also find, on this web page, an online booklet that provides more information about the school admissions process. We strongly recommend that you read this booklet before making your application.

Please note that the online application portal is open daily between 8am and 9.30pm each day up until the 15 January 2021.

You should only apply through the Walsall Council website if you are a Walsall resident. If you pay your council tax to a different Local Authority (LA), then you should apply through them. Contact details for neighbouring LAโ€™s are provided in the online information booklet.

You can list up to three schools on your application, in your order of preference. List all of the schools that you are interested in, including those that may be located in other local authority areas.

Some schools also require applicants to complete an additional Supplementary Information Form (SIF) in addition to naming the school on the online application form. Please refer to the online information booklet to see if you need to complete a Supplementary Information Form for any of your preferred schools. If you intend to name any schools outside Walsall then please contact the relevant LA to check if you are required to complete a Supplementary Information Form for that school.

All places are offered based on how well a child meets the over-subscription criteria for each school and, regrettably, it is not possible to guarantee that a place will be offered at a particular preferred school. We strongly recommend that you use all three preferences and include at least one local school in your selection that you feel that your child would have met the admission criteria for in previous years.

Details of each schoolโ€™s admissions criteria and how places have been offered in previous years are included in the on-line information booklet.

The deadline for submission of applications is 15 January 2021.

There is ample time for you to consider which schools you intend to list and make your application, there is no priority given to applicants who make their application earlier than others,

It is however extremely important that your application has been submitted by 15 January 2021. Any applications, or changes to your preferred schools, made after this date will be treated as late and will be processed after all those received by the deadline of 15 January 2021.

Making a late reception or junior school application will reduce the chance of your child being offered a place at your preferred schools.

You will be notified of the outcome of your application on 16 April 2021.

If you require any advice or support with making your application then please contact the School Admissions and Appeals Team at [email protected]. Members of the team will be pleased to assist you.

Yours faithfully

Rob Thomas,

Head of Access

Strict COVID-19 reintegration measures have been put in place and all parents will be issued with our new policy once their child/children return. If any parents wish to receive this policy prior to returning, do not hesitate to contact us and we can email the document across.

For now, stay safe and we'll see you all in the not too distant future.

On behalf of myself and team HP, we would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year. We hope you all have a fantastic break full of fun and laughter. See you all in 2020. xx

Just want to take this opportunity to thank all our amazing parents and staff who donated various items, which enabled us to create these lovely hampers that were raffled off to raise money for our nominated charity.

Because of the generosity shown, we have managed to raise ยฃ52 which will be donated to Midland Langar Seva Society, who will use the money to help feed people in our local community that are in need at this special time of year.

Thank you again from myself (Lianne) and Team HP ๐Ÿ’œ

Just want to say a MASSIVE thank you to my Honey Pot Team for making today as perfect as it was. You all really outdone yourselves...

This weeks team work at The Honey Pot has been second to none and the team should be so proud of themselves. You put on a fantastic day not only for all our children but for their families too. The place was a hive of excitement and fun and it was enjoyed thoroughly by all ๐Ÿ’œ
