What a fantastic first week we’ve had at Nursery!

It has been such a lovely week welcoming our children back and meeting our new starters. We are so proud of how well the children have settled into nursery.

They have been busy exploring their new surroundings, discovering different areas of the nursery, joining in with activities and making new friends.

It has been wonderful to see the children beginning to build positive relationships with both with practitioners and peers, growing in confidence and feeling comfortable in their new environment.

We are so excited to see what the rest of the year brings and look forward to lots more learning, playing, exploring and creating wonderful memories together!

A huge well done to all our children — you have been amazing!

🌟2026 End of Year Thank You 🌟

As we come to the end of another wonderful year, we want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to all of our amazing parents for your continued support and for choosing our nursery to be part of your child’s early years journey. It truly is a privilege to watch them grow, learn, and thrive with us.

A huge thank you also to everyone who joined us for our Graduation Ceremony, what a fantastic celebration it was! It was such a joy to share this special moment with you all and to reflect on how far the children have come.

We wish you the very best for the exciting adventures that lie ahead. We have no doubt that you will continue to shine brightly in everything you do. 💫

What a fantastic and hot week we have had at Nursery!

This week, the children have been exploring the seaside and taking part in a range of exciting activities linked to our theme. They have thoroughly enjoyed getting creative, learning new things, and joining in with all the fun experiences we have provided.

With the warm weather, the children especially loved cooling down with some water play and having water gently sprinkled on them — lots of smiles and laughter were shared!

Our nursery children have had a fantastic time taking part in a variety of fun sports and physical activities throughout the week. It has been wonderful to see their enthusiasm, determination, and teamwork as they challenged themselves and tried new activities.

As well as keeping active, we spent time talking about how our bodies feel during exercise and why it’s so important to listen to our body. The children learnt to recognise when they were feeling tired and understood when it was time to stop, have a rest, and enjoy a drink of water before joining back in. It was lovely to see them becoming more aware of what their bodies needed and learning healthy habits that will stay with them as they grow.

To help keep cool in the lovely warm weather, the children also enjoyed a refreshing ice lolly, which was the perfect treat after all their hard work and running around!

A huge well done to all of our amazing children for their fantastic effort, positive attitudes, and brilliant participation throughout the week.

What a fantastic week we have had at nursery celebrating all of our wonderful fathers and special male figures!

Despite the extremely hot weather, the children had an amazing time taking part in a variety of exciting activities throughout the week. To help everyone cool down and make the most of the sunshine, we even enjoyed some cheeky water hose fun, which brought lots of smiles, laughter, and excitement!

As a token of our appreciation, we invited all of our children’s special fathers and male figures to join us for a brunch at nursery. We were delighted with the fantastic turnout and would like to say a huge thank you to all of our parents and families for taking the time to attend, especially in such warm weather. Your support means so much to us and helps create such special memories for the children.

One of the highlights of our celebration was watching the children proudly perform a lovely song for their daddies and special male figures. The children sang beautifully with big smiles on their faces, and it was wonderful to see how proud they were to share this special moment with the important people in their lives.

Thank you for helping us make this celebration so memorable. We hope everyone has a wonderful, relaxing weekend and enjoys the sunshine safely! ☀️

What a week the children have had exploring on the farm!

They have taken their learning beyond the nursery and experienced farm life first-hand. The children thoroughly enjoyed meeting the animals, feeding them, and showing incredible bravery as they stroked them and got up close.

It has been a fantastic hands-on learning experience, full of excitement, curiosity, and new discoveries. The children gained so much from the visit and clearly loved every moment.

What a wonderful and memorable opportunity for learning it has been!

This week the children have been learning all about the farm and farm animals ahead of our exciting farm visit next week. We have talked about lots of different things relating to life on the farm, including where our food comes from and the important jobs farmers do.

The children have thoroughly enjoyed taking part in a variety of farm-themed activities, including creative play, sensory experiences, stories, songs, and discussions about different farm animals and their habitats. 🐖🐓🐴

We are all very excited for our upcoming trip and cannot wait to continue our learning with a real-life farm experience next week!

What a fantastic week we have had at nursery celebrating Eid!

Throughout the week, the children enjoyed taking part in a variety of exciting activities where they learned, explored, and celebrated together. To end our wonderful week, we held a brilliant Eid party filled with lots of fun.

The children had an amazing time playing games including musical chairs, pass the parcel, and “pin the cow, ”there were so many smiles! They also enjoyed some delicious food together with their friends during the celebrations.

To make the day even more special, we had a lovely visit from the ice cream man, and each child enjoyed a tasty ice cream treat with their friends.

A special thank you to one of our lovely parents who kindly made beautiful sweet cones for the children to enjoy.

This week at nursery we celebrated Culture Week, where the children took part in a variety of activities and had the opportunity to talk proudly about their own cultures, traditions and identities. It has been wonderful to see the children learning about each other and developing an understanding of the diverse world around them.

It is important for children to learn to understand and respect different cultures, communities and values. Through these experiences, children are encouraged to build positive relationships, develop respect for others and celebrate what makes us all unique.

To end our special week, the children came dressed in their cultural attire and brought in a dish from their culture to share with their friends during snack time. The children thoroughly enjoyed tasting different foods and learning more about one another’s backgrounds.

This week we also released our butterflies after watching them grow and transform over the past few weeks. The children were thrilled to experience this special moment and were excited to watch the butterflies fly away into their natural environment. It has been a wonderful learning experience for the children to observe the butterfly life cycle firsthand.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all of our parents for making such a special effort by dressing your children in their cultural clothing and bringing in dishes to share. Your support helped make the week so meaningful and memorable for the children.

We would also like to say a very big thank you to Atika and Jodie from South Family Hub for completing all five sessions of Magical Moments with our nursery children and parents. These sessions have been extremely beneficial in supporting parents to further develop their children’s language and communication skills at home.

We hope you all have a lovely half-term break. Children will return to nursery on Monday 1st June. 😊
