🏃‍♀️🏅 SAVE THE DATE – SPORTS DAY Autumn 2026! 🏅🏃‍♂️

We’re excited to announce that our Years 1–6 Sports Day will take place in the autumn term this year! 🖤💛

We have moved Sports Day to the autumn term following the increasing temperatures we’ve experienced during the summer months. We hope the cooler weather will make the event a more enjoyable experience for our pupils, families and spectators.

📅 Tuesday 15th September
Years 1, 2 & 3: 9:15–11:00am
Years 4, 5 & 6: 1:15–3:00pm

☕ Refreshments will be available to purchase during the day, so please bring some small change if you would like to buy something.

Looking for fun, engaging activities for your child? Our fantastic after-school clubs are back for the new school year and are now available to book on Arbor! 🎉

🎨🎭⚽ Whether your child loves dance, games and sports, or is keen to try something completely new, there’s something for everyone!

✨ NEW CLUBS THIS TERM! ✨
We’re excited to introduce three new clubs to our after-school programme:

🐉 Mini Dungeons & Dragons – adventure, imagination and storytelling!
🔨 RicNic Foundry – a creative space to explore, make and discover!
⛪ Family Church Club – fun, friendship and engaging activities for the whole family! No need to book, all welcome!

🗓 Starting Monday 7th September
💰 Cost: FREE to attend unless specified
🚪 Pick-Up: Goldsmith Road Main Gates

Please check the image below for your child’s PE days and make sure they come to school wearing the correct PE kit on these days. 👕👟

A quick reminder:
✔️ PE kit should be worn to school on PE days
✔️ Suitable footwear (trainers or pumps)
✔️ Long hair should be tied back
✔️ No jewellery

✨ And just like that… our first day back is complete! ✨

What a wonderful day at Goldsmith! 💛🖤 It has been fantastic to welcome all our pupils back, see so many familiar faces and meet some of our new pupils joining the family.

🎒A handful of West Midlands secondary schools will be going into the new school year with enhanced reputations after receiving glowing praise from Ofsted.

The schools are now considered among the best in the region after being handed new "exceptional" ratings by the education watchdog.

This is the highest possible rating that can be awarded to a school under Ofsted's revamped inspection system.
