What a wonderful return to school we have had over these first two days! 🌟

The children have returned with such wonderful attitudes to their learning and have been buzzing with excitement, sharing stories about all the fun and adventures they enjoyed during the summer holidays. It has been lovely to see everyone back and ready for another exciting year of learning.

We have also welcomed some new children and teachers to our school family. We hope you all settle in quickly, find your way around and feel at home with us. We know you will be a wonderful addition to our school community, and we are delighted to have you with us.

Wow! We would like to say a huge thank you to our Year 6 parents for making the Leavers' Festival Party such a fantastic success last night.

From the welcome "Buck's Fizz" on arrival, to the photo booth, the amazing festival atmosphere, and the beautifully decorated hall, every detail helped create a truly memorable evening for our Year 6 pupils.

Thank you for your hard work, generosity, and support in giving the children such a special celebration as they prepare for the next stage of their journey to High school.

Our children made the most of the cooler morning temperatures by enjoying some much needed fresh air before the day really warmed up. Our KS1 children had a fantastic time digging, building and exploring in the sandpit, developing their creativity, teamwork and imagination through play. ⛱️☀️

Year 3 had a fantastic time during their live online lesson with the National Marine Aquarium, WWF, and the amazing Steve Backshall! 🐠🌊
The children were fully engaged as they learnt all about a variety of marine animals, including those found around the UK’s shores. They explored how these incredible creatures live, what challenges they face, and the important work being done to protect our native species and their habitats. 🐢🐟
They were absolutely over the moon when Steve answered one of their questions — such an exciting moment for everyone! 🤩
It was a wonderful opportunity to deepen their understanding of conservation and how we can all play a part in looking after our oceans and our Earth.
