Partnership monthly briefing - June 2026๐

๐ Year 5 have had an amazing time in DT learning all about cooking and nutrition!
We explored where our food comes from, the importance of nutritional values, and then put our learning into practice by making pizza dough completely from scratch๐ฉโ๐ณ๐จโ๐ณ
Using our fractions knowledge, we divided the dough into equal parts before shaping our pizza bases and adding our favourite toppings.
A fantastic day full of learning, teamwork, and delicious pizzas! ๐

๐โค๏ธ Thank You, Nursery Families โค๏ธ๐
A heartfelt thank you to all of our nursery parents who joined us for our Stay and Read session. We were so pleased to see such a fantastic turnout and it was truly lovely to watch our children sharing stories, exploring books, and enjoying the magic of reading alongside their families.
The room was filled with smiles, laughter, and a real love of books. Seeing these special moments between children and their parents was an absolute pleasure and a wonderful reminder of how important reading together can be.
Thank you for taking the time to be part of the session and for supporting your child's reading journey. We thoroughly enjoyed welcoming you into nursery and look forward to sharing more special experiences together in the future๐โจ

๐ฆ More pictures from our trip to West Midlands Safari Park! ๐ฆ
What an amazing day we had at West Midlands Safari Park! The children were so excited from the moment we arrived and loved seeing the animals up close. There were lots of โwowโ moments, with children spotting their favourites and eagerly talking about what they could see.
We shared lots of conversations about the animals, their features and where they live, with the children asking questions and showing real curiosity. It was wonderful to see their confidence, excitement and enthusiasm throughout the day.
A truly special trip filled with laughter, learning and unforgettable memories for everyone๐๐

Before half-term, Nursery PM went to the Safari Park๐ฆ
We saw lions, tigers, penguins and so much more!
Our adventure began on the coach, we drove through the park with our ranger - he told us so many amazing facts about the animals!
After our yummy lunch we went into the park and followed the African trail, seeing giraffes, elephants, as well as more tigers!
It was such an amazing day and we behaved so well, making all our teachers super proud!
The journey home was much quieter though as we all fell asleep ๐ค
