Tomorrow is our BIG enterprise sale. Remember no more than £5 spending money to be brought into school! There is lots of lovely things the buy. The children have been working hard all week!
Class 4C have been super busy making and baking Muffins for Enterprise sales tomorrow!
4A have been on the production line today in preparation for Enterprise week. They have been busy designing, making and advertising their personalised keyrings.

3C have been designing and creating bracelets for enterprise week. We have designed an order form so that we can create personalised bracelets that will be unique to the other children.
Year 1 have been following instructions how to make a kite. We tested the kites to see if they worked!
Year 1 have been reading the Secret Sky Garden by Linda Sarah and Fiona Lumbers . We have been really creative and made our own Secret Sky Gardens.
As part of their DT unit, Year 6 have been designing and constructing playgrounds.
4A completed some beautiful art work for our Eid celebrations last week. They designed their own backgrounds using crayon and pastels, then layered the mosque silhouette on top.
Nursery NB having been exploring the ramps outside. These fine and gross motor movements are providing hands-on experience with force, motion, gravity, and friction. Nursery NB have all worked hard at growing, tomatoes, coriander, basil, onions, strawberries and much more.
The staff and children have had a wonderful day today celebrating Eid Mubarak. The hall was filled with colourful clothing and special outfits and the children enjoyed the activities in lessons. We look forward to celebrating many more celebrations across all religions.
Year 6 have had a fantastic morning at bowling making forever memories with their friends. Well done year 6!
Year 5 have constructed lines using masking tape to measure angles using protractors. They then used this information to help them work out unknown angles by using what they already know about angles on a straight line, in triangles and in quadrilaterals.
Year 1 had a fantastic time at Cannock Chase last week.
In year 3 we have been writing a letter in role as a character from our story. We have been using fronted adverbials and have included thoughts and emotions.
In 5B, we have been designing and making a carousel. Children loved adding their own unique flair to their designs and then bringing it to life. They have demonstrated excellent teamwork. They will be using their crumble skills to programme flashing lights and spitting motors!
This week in PE, class 4C have been demonstrating good running technique in a competitive situation.

Look what fun Year 2 have been getting up to! Africa Day!
Reception have been exploring different materials and learning about what man made and natural materials are. We explored addition sums and represented these using the part part whole method and number sentences too. The work was so amazing that we went to show it off to our school’s maths lead Miss Manak. She was so impressed! After reading and discussing Superdaisy in literacy, we had a go at designing our own superheroes.
In Nursery this week we are learning all about Minibeasts. NB Am have caught a spider from the garden. Rest assured we will put it back!
NB Pm are listening to stories in different ways in the Nursery Reading Lounge.
In Science, Class 4C investigated melting and freezing points. We observed ice melting in different temperatures of water.
Year 6 have had great fun being creative this week. Look at their amazing Tonal drawings with charcoal.
In Art, Year 3 have been making observational Botanical Drawings. We used the ‘sketching’ technique to create realistic effects.
Year 1 have enjoyed playing with the parachute in PE today.
In Reception, we read and discussed ‘The Rainbow Fish’. We explored mixing colours and painted our own. We discussed what we can do when we feel worried to make ourselves feel better. In maths, we have been exploring number pairs to 10. We had a great last week.

They used the skills they learnt to see if they could create a step counter.
Year 3 have been looking at forces and magnets in Science. We conducted experiments to find out how forces react on different surfaces.
