It's always wonderful to see our school community working together, building confidence in the kitchen, and enjoying the opportunity to learn in a fun and supportive environment.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part - we look forward to the next session! πŸ’™

Dear Parents and Carers,

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to our Year 6 Presentation Assemblies, which mark an important milestone in your child's educational journey. We are delighted to celebrate their achievements alongside you.

The children have shown remarkable dedication and hard work, not only this year but throughout their time at Hillary Primary School. To honour their accomplishments, each class will take part in a 30-minute Presentation Assembly, during which they will receive a certificate and their leavers' gift.

The details for each class are as follows:
6A: Monday 13th July, 9:10am - 9:40am
6B: Monday 13th July, 9:50am - 10:20am
6C: Monday 13th July, 10:30am - 11:00am

We kindly ask that you arrive at the main school reception at least 5 minutes before your child's assembly is due to begin. Please note that latecomers will not be permitted entry once the assembly has started, in order to minimise disruption. Due to limited space in the hall, we regret that we are unable to accommodate younger siblings during the assemblies.

In addition, on Thursday 16th July in the afternoon, Year 6 will be celebrating their leavers' party in school.

On their final day, Friday 17th July, Year 6 pupils will be released from their normal doors at 1:45pm. We warmly invite parents and carers to join staff on the KS2 playground to celebrate this special moment. Together, we will form a line to clap the children out as they take their final walk off the school premises.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support throughout your child's time at Hillary Primary School. We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved and wish them every success in the next stage of their education. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to seeing you at the assemblies and celebrating with you during this special time.

Kind regards,
Ms J Seward

Busy hands, creative minds and plenty of smiles in 6A today! 🎈

As part of Enterprise Week, the children became product designers and manufacturers, creating their own stress balls ready for sale. From measuring ingredients to assembling the final product, every child played a part in the production process.

The classroom was full of teamwork, perseverance and problem-solving as the children worked hard to bring their ideas to life.

Well done, 6A - a fantastic effort from everyone involved. πŸ‘
