What a way to finish the year at Barr Beacon School!
As part of their OCR Cambridge Nationals Enterprise & Marketing (R068) coursework, our Year 10 Business pupils spent the final week of term bringing their burger business ideas to life.
Following months of market research and product development, pupils designed, created, and tested their own burger prototypes, demonstrating creativity, teamwork, and entrepreneurial flair throughout the process.
A fantastic hands-on experience and a brilliant showcase of the hard work they have put into their coursework this year. Well done, Year 10!

Our final ‘Hot Chocolate with the Head’ celebration of the year… with a summer twist! 🌞🥤
Due to the warm weather, we swapped hot chocolate for milkshakes to celebrate another fantastic group of pupils. Every student has earned their place through their own achievements, effort and positive contributions throughout the year. A brilliant way to end the year – well done to you all!
