What an incredible group of young people you are. You have filled our school with kindness, laughter, determination, and friendship, and we couldn't be prouder of the amazing individuals you have grown into ❤️

While we will miss each and every one of you, we know you are more than ready for your next adventure 🙌🏼🙌🏼 As you move on to high school, take with you the confidence to believe in yourselves, the courage to embrace new opportunities, and the kindness that has made you so special ❤️🧡💛🩷💜💚

What an incredible afternoon at our Summer Fayre! ☀️💛

A huge thank you to our amazing CommUNITY Group, who work tirelessly behind the scenes to create opportunities for our families to come together and make wonderful memories. Your dedication, enthusiasm and hard work made the day such a success 🤗🥰

It was fantastic to see so many families enjoying quality time together – from relaxing yoga sessions and energetic dancing, to creating giant bubbles, and of course, the ever-popular chance to soak the teachers! 😄💦

Seeing so many smiling faces and families having fun together is exactly what our school community is all about.

Thank you never seems enough to express how grateful we are to our incredible CommUNITY Group. You truly are superstars, and we are so lucky to have you! ⭐️💙

🌸🎉⭐️ GLASTONBERNIES 2026 ⭐️🎉🌸

What a day! Today, every class from Nursery to Year 6 took to the stage and shared their talents, making it a celebration to remember. We were also treated to incredible performances from our Boys' Elite Choir and Girls' Choir 🎶🎵🎤❤️

It was wonderful to welcome so many families to join us and celebrate the hard work and creativity of our students. The day was filled with singing, dancing, smiling faces, and so many special moments 🕺💃🪩😊🖤🤍

A huge thank you to our amazing students, dedicated staff, and supportive families for making today such an enormous success.

Memories like these remind us how special our school community truly is. ❤️🎤🎵

We had a fantastic day at the park celebrating our house winning the most house points over the year! We enjoyed games, a picnic lunch, and lots of fun together. Even the weather was kind to us! A well-deserved celebration — well done to everyone in St. Francis of Assisi! 🎉🌳

Out of 28 teams competing in this year’s Northern Cross campaign, our girls finished in a fantastic and very respectable 3rd place. 🥉👏🏻

A brilliant achievement that reflects their hard work, commitment, teamwork and determination throughout the competition. They should all be incredibly proud of what they have achieved - a huge well done to every one of them for representing our school with such passion and effort. ⚽️👏🏻

✨ CELEBRATION ASSEMBLY ✨

This afternoon, we gathered for our Celebration Assembly to recognise the children who have lived out the mission set by Mrs Batchelor during our Celebration of the Word: to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. 👣
We are so proud of their kindness, compassion and courage! ❤️💛🧡🩷💜💚

We also celebrated our fantastic sporting stars! 🏅⚽ Their hard work, determination and teamwork are an inspiration to us all.

Mrs Gallagher then shared another wonderful Open the Book story—'Groaner and Moaner' Jonah. 🐋📖 We reflected on how Jonah was given time to think about how he should answer God's call, reminding us of the importance of listening to God and making good choices. 🙏

Last week, it was Year 5’s turn to take part in the Girls’ Summer League. For the first time playing together as a team, they were absolutely magnificent. The future of girls’ football at St Bernadette’s is looking incredibly bright. ⚽️👏🏻
