We are delighted that our Chatterbooks Club has started up again! Tonight, our gorgeous little Bookworms 📕 🐛 have enjoyed the story entitled ‘The Day the Crayon Came Home’! What a lovely way to end the busy Autumn term for Chatterbooks. Mrs Collins joined them and read a lovely story about a Christmas Robin🎄🐧 The children then enjoyed doing some Christmas crafts. They each recieved a certificate and a chocolate lolly for being fantastic Chatterbooks. 📕 🐛 Well done!

The children had a great Christmassy 🎄🎅🏻 night in Chatterbooks! They had a special snowman ⛄️ visit them to read a story about a pine tree🌲. Following this, they then enjoyed some Christmas colouring. To end the session, they sang Rudolph the red nose reindeer! They had great fun!😀

Chatterbooks loved looking at stories 📖 from the bible tonight. They looked at the story of the Prodigal Son, as well as the story of Noah’s Ark 🐘 🐪 🐢 . The children loved listening to a song about the story and singing along. They then answered questions and coloured pictures relating to the biblical scripture that they had discussed. The children learnt that when there are bad times, God always shares his light! For example, following the flood and rain 🌧️, he sent sunshine ☀️ to make a rainbow 🌈.

What a lovely ending to our first term, with some old and some new little chatterbooks! 📚🐛 The children loved Mrs Batchelor dresssing up as a pumpkin and reading a story! They enjoyed a Halloween freeze dance and did some Halloween colouring.

This term, the children have enjoyed sharing their own favourites stories, even embarking on a bear 🐻 hunt in the early years garden! They have had loads of fun! 😀

We would like to say a huge thank you to Miss Smith for the time and energy that she puts into this group! Can’t wait to see what fun they have next term! ❤️

This week, the children enjoyed the funny story entitled ‘101 Bums’. Mrs Chamley kindly read it to them! They then enjoyed a fun animal freeze dance, enjoyed making bear masks, puppets and bookmarks. To end the evening, the children then enjoyed a bear hunt! A very busy Chatterbooks this week! 📚🐛
