Vault number one of the week in Tuffley and what a start I've enjoyed!
Griff and I were drawn in a difficult looking group but I started like a train with averages of 86 and 88, wondering where the hiccup was going to come from. The third game was the challenge of Griff, were he won 2-1 in a decent game. We then both won our final two group games to get ourselves into the knockouts.
I landed myself a difficult QF where we were guaranteed that a Lee would win and a steady performance got me through 3-1 against Lee B.
Griff crashed out in the QF, so I was left to fly the flag.
The Semi put me against Cum Sock and I went into a 2-0 lead before missing match darts as Cam pulled it back to 2-2. I managed to win the final leg with a tidy 76 finish after Cam had left himself 61 after 15.
I didn't play to the standard that I'd of liked to in the final but a 15 darter, finished with a 72 checkout, gave me the 3-0 win and first Vault title of the series.

Relief is the first emotion as I get back on the winner podium and now I need to kick on with the next Vaults in front of me. Only 5 legs lost during today's games, so confidence is on the up.

A massive thanks to my sponsors for their support -
