Puddleduck Nursery in Wallingford is rated GOOD by Ofsted.

The nursery is currently recruiting for QUALIFIED Nursery Nurse/Childcare Practitioner to join our fun and friendly team. Successful candidates will be entitled to a signing-on bonus of £500.00 once the probationary period has been completed successfully

The role includes:

Being involved in developing and delivering high quality, stimulating, creative and welcoming environment for the children within the nursery.

Working with the EYFS and completing online journals for your key children.
Supporting room leaders and room coordinators in every day running of the room.
To work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, learn and develop. Building good working relationships with staff and parents.

To provide a range of activities relevant to the age and needs of the children in the setting, which encourage independence, self-motivation, and eagerness to learn.
Attending regular supervision and training as agreed with the nursery manager/Owner and have a willingness to continue your own professional development.

Maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Suitable candidates must:

Hold a level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/equivalent.
Have a good understanding of EYFS regulations
Be able to demonstrate good communication skills
Have a positive attitude
Be creative and ambitious
Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Have the ability to work as part of a team.
