Thank you so much to everyone who came out and supported our postponed summer fair today. There was a great family feel and a marvellous breeze under the shade of the trees.

Today was our Spitfire 90 exhibition where each class has created a display around what they have learnt about the mighty spitfire. The work was incredible. We were also very lucky to have some parts from a real spitfire to look at and hold - thank you to Tony from Spitfire AA810 - Restoring Sandy's Spitfire.

Thank you to Station Commander Alice, SWO Wozza and our parents for coming to see the exhibition. It will be opening at 08:45 tomorrow for anyone who missed it.

With a different Friday in store for us today, we focused on our Spitfire 90 project work ready for our exhibition on 7th July. Mr Haythorne then brought round the model of his own spitfire that me had taken time and care to make to show the children. Doesn’t it look fab?

A huge thank you to Tony and Onz from Spitfire AA810 - Restoring Sandy's Spitfire for coming into school today to continue the excitement for the Spitfire 90 project. The children had a fabulous day decorating their own spitfire for the bunting that is going to be used for our exhibition and also hearing about Sandy Gunn, part of the PRU who was shot down over Norway, and his spitfire. We look forward to welcoming them back into school soon! Thank you. 😊

What a fabulous sports day!! The children’s dances representing the various Commonwealth Countries were a perfect opening ceremony to start the day and the amazing growth mindsets from all the children running the races with big smiles and superb sporting attitude was wonderful to see.

Congratulations to Phoenix house for winning the trophy this year breaking Hydra’s run!

Thank you to our fabulous staff team for all they did to prepare the children for today, our team of volunteers who helped with refreshments and to all the parents who came and cheered and clapped so brilliantly. Thank you. 🤩

Our KS2 children had an awesome day today with Andy Instone, founder of Urban Strides and choreographer to the amazing Young Voices. There was much energy in the school today and we thank Andy for inspiring our children to be the best that they can be. Thank you parents for coming to the showcase where our children performed to you. Weren’t they great?
