What a fantastic week we have had embracing all things Olympics. The children have taken on running, jumping, throwing, hurdles and gymnastics. Alongside this we have made Olympic ring pictures, flags of the world and medals. The children loved receiving their medals to celebrate how much fun we have had with it all.

Today is World Down Syndrome Day, the children have worked so hard over the last 2 weeks to complete Down’s Syndrome Oxford’s challenge 21 and have successfully painted 225 socks in 21 different ways!! We are super proud of how much awareness they have raised by adorning the house in lots of socks and they have raised just over £100 for this special charity! Look at all our lovely socks!!!
Day 6 and we have painted in 12 different ways including with our feet, using flowers, duplo, broccoli and by rolling balls.
If your passing by the house come and have a look and see if you can guess how some of them were painted.

To celebrate world book day our weeks theme has been books!! Here are a few of the activities we got up to based on our favourite books.

World Down’s Syndrome day is on March 21st. To celebrate this day we are taking on Down’s Syndrome Oxford’s challenge 21 to raise money for their important work. From the 8th of March we will be getting the children involved in painting pictures of socks in 21 different ways. We are then going to display them outside the house. Please help us to support this local charity. Thank you!

Happy New Year from our Happy Home to yours! 2021 is a big year for us as we open the doors to our new venture in a few days time, we can’t wait to share it with you!

We are now able to offer places to children who are eligible for 2 year old funding as well as the universal 15 and extended 30 hours early year’s funding for 3 and 4 year olds. Please get in touch if you’d like more information.
