✨ Isla is a well-loved member of our little group, and she loves to take a leading role in some activities, especially when she is our teacher!

✨ We are so pleased with all the progress Fearne has made this year. Being comfortable and pain free has allowed her to develop physically and socially as well, interacting more with the children and grown-ups around her and keeping her body still for longer periods, whether in lying, sitting or standing. 😊

We have continued practising a variety of positions on the Galileo and Fearne is now able to sit independently for longer periods. She is also able to maintain high-kneeling as well as standing with a bit of support at the hips. During the last few sessions of the year we have also started practising taking steps with 2 persons' support, one from the back and one from the front, and this is something we will be building on next year. 💪

For years, we’ve been incredibly fortunate to have the support of the 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, who generously allocated us London Marathon places. In 2026, they granted us three places, and our amazing runners raised an incredible £𝟏𝟐,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐤 ‘𝐧’ 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩!

Sadly, as Lions groups continue to close, we’ve been told we will 𝐧𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 through this wonderful organisation.

We were also 𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐭 for 2027, meaning that right now… we have 𝐍𝐎 𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭.

But YOU could change that! If you have a 2027 London Marathon place, 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐤 ‘𝐧’ 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩.
