The fabulous team at Flockton Pre-School have asked HD8 Life to share this exciting news as they prepare to celebrate their 50th anniversary 🖤

They're hoping to give their space a bit of a spruce up but, as a very small village charity-run provision, they really would appreciate any help and donations from the local community.

Well that’s it guys after our final graduation. It never gets easier saying goodbye to the children we care for. Some are leaving us for their next adventure others will be coming back in September as we welcome new friends. But for now I just wanted to say a huge thank you. It’s been a blast. You make us smile everyday as we watch you grow in confidence and develop new life skills. The wonder on your faces and the excitement as you learn. Never change little ones. You truly are all amazing and we are grateful for your time with us.

Well it’s nearly the end of term and the past few weeks have been so very hot for both our little ones and the staff and we have been working so hard to keep
everyone cool and happy.
I feel so very lucky to have the best team! Each and everyone of them is not only amazing at their jobs with the children but they also support each other through every up and down!
I know the childcare industry at the moment can get bogged down with so much bad press , the stress and constant updates and new guidelines are exhausting but my girls make me laugh every single day so thank you so much I am truly grateful for you all. ❤️
Graduation 👩‍🎓 day on Wednesday when we say goodbye to some of our little pre school family xx 😘

All 3 and 4-year-olds in England are automatically entitled to 15 hours of free childcare per week for 38 weeks a year, completely regardless of their parents' employment status, income, or benefits.
High quality early years education with caring, knowledgeable practitioners is immensely beneficial for a child's Personal, Social, and Emotional Development (PSED).
Flockton Pre-School provide structured opportunities for children to make friends, understand boundaries, express emotions, and build independence before starting primary school making transitions to ‘big school’ so much easier for our little ones . ❤️

We have Changed the table layout in our setting to be more inclusive and sociable. This has turned lunch into a learning experience and by having staff join in at the table rather than sit alongside, it has enabled us to chat and positively teach table manners through modeling, which is proving to be far more effective than just giving instructions.🍽️
