So I decided to wear my BOOSTfit shirt as a bit of advertising during the Leeds 10K.
What I hadn't planned for was completely forgetting what the slogan on the back actually said.
Every now and then, during the race, someone would shout, "You're doing great!" or "I love your shirt!" and people even thanked me for the message on it.
Each time, I'd smile and say thank you... while secretly trying to remember what was written on my own back.
It wasn't until afterwards that it really hit me how many people had read it and connected with it.
We all need a reminder sometimes. A reminder that we can keep going. A reminder to believe in ourselves. A reminder that we don't have to be perfect.
Whether it's running 10K, trying a new fitness class, or just getting through a difficult week, a few encouraging words can make a real difference.
It was lovely to know that the message resonated with so many people.
And yes... I eventually remembered what it said.
So if you'd like to join a fitness class where the instructor sometimes forgets what she's wearing (and occasionally forgets the moves to a routine), come and join us.

So I've decided to risk it all...
Tonight, I'm introducing not one, but TWO new tracks at BOOSTfit. 😅
What am I thinking?
What has possessed me to add even more chaos to my life?
I've practised them.
I practised them again last night.
And I'll probably practise them several more times before class.
But let's be honest... that's absolutely no guarantee that I'll get them right tonight. 😄
So, if you've been thinking about trying BOOSTfit but have been worried that you won't know what you're doing...
Tonight is your night.
Because if I get lost, and you get lost, we'll all be lost together.
That's the thing about BOOSTfit. It's not about being perfect. It's about moving, laughing, having fun, and not taking ourselves too seriously.

We had a small but successful first week of Mat Pilates at Eastmoor Community Project!
A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the first class such a lovely start.
If you missed out, don't worry—there's still plenty of room to join us this Monday and see if Pilates is for you.
Whether you're completely new to Pilates or returning after a break, you'll be very welcome. The class is designed for beginners, movements can be adapted to suit your ability, and there's no pressure to get everything right.

So we did a thing... 💛
Yep — we had another fantastic BOOSTfit class tonight!
There was sliding, punching, twisting, and lots of laughter. 😄
A huge thank you to all the ladies who joined me tonight (including the two who were camera shy and managed to avoid photographic evidence of their hard work 📸🙈).
I’ll see you all next week... IYKYK.

I love my allotment.
My allotment does NOT love me.
So far, I have been:
🐜 Bitten by red ants
🐝 Stung by a bee (twice... does that make it two bees?)
🌿 Blistered after touching stinging nettles that I didn't even know I'd touched
🌹 Left with more thorns in my fingers than I can count
🍃 And I currently have so many things hiding in my hair that I'm basically a walking compost heap
And we're not even going to discuss how many times my greenhouse has blown over.
At this point, I'm starting to think my allotment sees me as an invasive species.
I'm not giving up, though.
But if you're wondering what I'll be thinking about during the StressBust section of BOOSTfit tomorrow night... let's just say there may be some very aggressive punching and kicking of the air.

We've got ones you can borrow.
Not flexible enough?
You do NOT need to be flexible to do Pilates. Everything can be adapted to YOUR ability.
Worried you’ll be the only beginner?
We’re all new in this class!
Not sure what to wear?
Comfortable clothes and socks are perfect (especially if you’re borrowing a mat).
Worried about the instructor?
Honestly, that should probably be your biggest concern… just kidding 😆
Although I’m a new Pilates teacher, I’ve been practising Pilates for over 15 years and teaching fitness classes for several years, including BOOSTfit and Move it or Lose it. I’ll be bringing the same fun personality from those classes into Pilates too
I’ve been lucky to learn from some wonderful mentors over the years, and I hope to make you feel just as welcome in my classes as they made me feel in theirs.

How is it Tuesday already?!
Must have been that glorious Bank Holiday weekend…
Which means tomorrow is BOOSTfit Wednesday— and I now have two whole days to learn my new routines.
And this time, I really am introducing something new…
But what will it be?
A new warm-up?
New strength section?
A whole new routine?
We all know I’m taking a risk by changing things up a bit… but I like to live on the edge.
