Thank you, ladies, for a fabulous BOOSTfit class last night!

We started by watching a little bit of the eclipse 🌙✨ and then got down to business...

We moved.
We sweated.
We went the wrong way.
And we laughed pretty much the whole time.

Honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way.

And I do have one apology to make...

I'm sorry I got rid of Katy Perry!

But I promise she'll be making her triumphant return next week!

Same place, same BOOSTfit chaos, and hopefully a little more Katy.

What a lovely second night at our new home!

When we walked into Lakeside Creative Arts Centre, we were greeted by a beautifully cool room.

It stayed that way for... oh, about five minutes.

Then Missy Elliott arrived.

Closely followed by Pitbull.

And before we knew it, that lovely cool room had turned into a full-on BOOSTfit sauna!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make our second class at Lakeside such a great one.

There was plenty of movement, lots of laughs, and just the right amount of sweat.

We're already looking forward to doing it all again next Wednesday!

🚨 IMPORTANT BOOSTfit UPDATE 🚨

I've just received notification from Kettlethorpe High School that, due to renovations taking place in the dance studio, we can no longer hold classes there with immediate effect.

While it's sad to say goodbye to the place where our BOOSTfit journey began, it's a good thing I had a backup plan! 💛

From now on, BOOSTfit will be held exclusively at:

After Wednesday's class, one of the ladies said she'd noticed a change in my body shape since we started BOOSTfit.

It was a lovely compliment, and I really appreciated it.

But if I'm honest, I've noticed so many other changes too.

I've watched our class become more confident.

I've seen our stamina improve.

I've watched complete strangers become friends.

We've laughed... a lot.

We've encouraged each other through the tougher tracks.

And despite my occasional wrong turn (or several), we keep showing up and enjoying ourselves.

Yes, we're getting fitter and stronger, but BOOSTfit has become so much more than a workout.

It's 45 minutes of movement, laughter, friendship, stress relief, and doing something just for yourself.

(Unless I accidentally overrun... which, let's be honest, happens more often than I'd like to admit.)

So, if you've been thinking about giving BOOSTfit a try, why not come along next Wednesday?

⚽ A quick BOOSTfit update!

As excited as I am for our brand-new class at Lakeside Creative Arts Centre tonight, I've just realised there's a tiny problem...

England is playing Spain... right in the middle of class.

I did consider a couple of options:

📺 Putting a television in the studio so we could all work out while watching the match.
🤔 Or moving our introductory class to next week.

In the interest of safety (because asking people to lunge while watching England is probably not the best idea), I've decided to cancel tonight's 7:30–8:30 PM class at Lakeside Creative Arts Centre.

Don't worry! Our original class is still going ahead as planned:
