An Inspiring morning assembly! ✨ We welcomed back three esteemed alumnae. Annabel Sampson, Tara Karim and Eleanor Kaye who shared their incredible career journeys with our students. Joined by Mr. Eggleston, they discussed their diverse roles and experiences since leaving Wakefield Girls'. What an amazing opportunity for our students to learn and be inspired!
Our team of chefs have been busy in the kitchen and have given us all the gift of deliciousness! Our Valentine's Day menu featured Spaghetti and Meatballs in a tomato sauce, deli-style salads, sandwiches, and other treats. Happy Valentine's Day! 💙 🍽️

Yesterday, our Year 7 students watched the Split Second production team perform their powerful road safety play. The performance delivered an important message about staying alert and making safe choices when crossing roads. Our students were fully engaged, taking away vital lessons on how to protect themselves and their friends while navigating traffic. A huge thank you to the Split Second team for bringing this crucial topic to life!🚦👫
Our U13s battled hard against Rossall in their SIS 4th round match! The game was intense from start to finish, with impressive play on both sides. Despite a tough final quarter, our girls showed brilliant teamwork and determination. Congratulations to the entire squad for their strong performance throughout the competition! We look forward to building on this progress for the rest of the netball season. 🏐👏

This weekend, our six Foundation LEAP teams were back at the Merrion Centre for the Valentine’s Trade Fair! After a vigorous day’s trading and rigorous assessment against 26 teams from across Yorkshire, our team Boxful took home 1st place once again! 🏆🎉
Having already won top spot at the Christmas Trade Fair, Boxful has made LEAP history by becoming the first team in 17 years to win both fairs in the same year! 🚀👏

This week, our Year 5 students had an incredible experience visiting the Renewi Recycling Centre in Wakefield. They engaged in workshops focused on natural resources and their extraction impacts, and took a tour of the recycling facility. This visit emphasised the vital importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling to safeguard our planet’s future. 🌍♻️
