Frank Cottrell-Boyce, the current Children's Laureate, campaigns for 'Reading Rights: Books Build a Brighter Future'. He argues that all children should have plentiful access to reading for pleasure.

At The Mount, we've accepted the challenge this week, with a wonderful performance of Treasure Island; a book to take home from Darling Reads; the chance for children to share their reading with others; and our ever-popular book swap. Of course, there's been some dressing up too!

We'd also like to say a huge thank you for the kind donations of books in our 'Fall in Love with Reading' campaign. If you'd like to donate a book to school, here is the link to our wish list: https://amzn.eu/03ZOz7vo
