We have snowflakes with our name on for our tree for Christmas and winter

Our story was the gruffalo last week. We read the book, reacted with small world and role play. Then we made some gruffalo crumble 😋

On cold days after we went to collect our Christmas books, you need a babyccino

Every day we sing our name song.
Each child finds their name which is on a wooden leaf and they hang it on the tree. We sing their name and clap out the songs. Children love this time. They see their selves as an individual within a group. The older children ate starting to recognise their name and the younger are starting to know their name and repeat

We're blasting off to space this term. Our small world space table.

Firework threading activity. Children can use different hand grasps to pick the pipe cleaners up and then thread them through the holes

What did everyone dress up as this Halloween.

Before the summer holidays we started a task with the older children.

They were all talking about the different primes they had tried.

We asked them what flavour should be made?....and from there a full 6 weeks project started.

We started by thinking of different flavours.

We designed a bottle
Listed the ingredients we would need. From looking on the bottles and researching and we made a list.

We used empty prime bottles to make out own bottles.

Then it was time to make the drink. We used different quantities of the ingredients to get the taste right. There were some fails which were horrible but we managed to make some ok flavours.

We were shocked the main ingredient. Coconut water was not liked by all 😆

Sometimes you just have to explore and get messy
