The very hungry caterpillar๐๐ฆ
Our focus book and one of our favourite books.
We read the book over and over so the children can get used to the story and be able to retell.
We read using the book
We read along with the toni box
Use props to retell the story
Use story cards to put the story in order
Children really enjoyed retelling the story together and listening to the story on the toni box

Train track play all morning
Gemma and I have a love/hate relationship with the train track. It learns children so much especially resilience. Even me and gemma. As it gets knocked all the time and breaks. We model breathing in and out as we get every frustrated with the amounts of time we fix it back together ๐

๐๏ธwe had an emergency this week๐๏ธ
While we were tidying up we found a headless snail(a laminated snail). We searched for his head. We found it, we rushed him to the snail hospital. Doctor Kayleigh fixed his head back on and bandaged it up.
The children helped make his bed to lay him down so he could rest.
We all sat down and made him a get well soon card.
