This summer, we're inviting young people across the Wakefield District to get creative with Big Screen, Big Idea - Film Wakefield's free filmmaking challenge for young people aged 7-18 years.

Whether they're aspiring filmmakers, keen writers, budding artists or simply have a brilliant imagination, Big Screen, Big Idea encourages young people to create an original script, storyboard or trailer, inspired by their own ideas and experiences.

No specialist equipment or previous filmmaking experience is needed - just creativity and a story to tell.
