Spanish and Umbrellas and Shoot Spanish have been working together on a project we have been developing for months, and we are so excited to finally share it with you! 🎬🇪🇸
If you teach El Laberinto del Fauno at A-Level, this is for you.
We wanted to create something very comprehensive, practical and genuinely useful — a resource that goes beyond simply teaching the plot and gives students the tools they need to develop stronger, more sophisticated analytical and critical responses to the film.
The course is fully online, entirely in Spanish and self-paced, so you can work through it whenever it suits you. It is purely analytical, focusing on how to explore the film in greater depth and help students move from simply describing what they see to analysing, interpreting, making connections and supporting their ideas effectively.
And because the whole course is in Spanish, it is also a great opportunity to practise and develop your own Spanish while exploring a film you already teach.
