Very sad to hear of the passing of old chemistry teacher Pat Bradley just a few weeks short of his 90th Birthday.
A true gentleman who passed on his knowledge in a wonderful way to aspiring chemists.

🎭✨ Silcoates Summer Ball – Masquerade 2025 ✨🎭

On Saturday 28 June, we will host the annual Silcoates’ Summer Ball, in association with ‘Friends of Silcoates’ and the Sixth Form.

Join us for a delicious dinner, dancing, live band, raffle, and great company as we celebrate the end of the school year.

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Sarah Walton, a pupil at Silcoates 1992 to 1997. After her long illness Sarah passed away on 26th February. Sarah’s celebration Funeral Mass will take place on the 3rd April 12:30 at St Edward’s Church Clifford.

👭Who’s Invited? - All ladies in the Silcoates’ community and beyond: current parents, Old Silcoatians, parents of alumni, current and former staff, plus any friends and family.

Gather your friends, book a table, and enjoy a delicious lunch with an inspiring guest speaker. It promises to be a wonderful afternoon of great food, conversation, and company.

Remembrance Art Installation - Sea of Silcoatians

Our Art and DT Faculty, along with pupils across the Senior School, are creating a sea of handcrafted poppies for a special Remembrance art installation.

🗓 When: Monday 4 November - Friday 15 November
📍 Where: The Head’s Lawn at Silcoates School

This powerful tribute will honour those who those who sacrificed their lives during conflict, with a particular remembrance of Silcoates’ former students and teachers.

We invite all friends of Silcoates to purchase a poppy for £5.00, which can be dedicated to a loved one or a member of the community who served in the line of duty. All profits will go to the Royal British Legion.

After the installation, you’ll be able to keep your dedicated poppy, along with a commemorative booklet listing each dedication.
