Let the countdown begin! Just 1 MONTH to go before The Cat That Slept for a Thousand Years comes to WX ๐Ÿฑ

Bringing a touch of magic, the 10 metre long Cat snores, purrs, twitches its ear and swishes its tail! Brought to life by Air Giants pioneering robotic technology, the cat invites all ages to immerse themselves in its unique movements.

Originally commissioned by Manchester Museum, part of the The University of Manchester, the cat will be in WX from Saturday 21 March - Sunday 12 April, where visitors can show their affection by giving it a stroke or a cuddle, and feel a massive purr. The more people there are, the more restless it is.

If a button battery is swallowed and gets stuck in the food pipe, energy from the battery reacts with saliva to create caustic soda. Thatโ€™s the same chemical used to unblock drains!

This can burn through the food pipe, to the main artery and lead to life-changing internal injuries and death.

Even if a child survives these injuries, there is a risk that the food pipe is too badly damaged to eat normally again or the vocal cords are too badly damaged to speak normally again.

Please look around your home for button batteries. Think toys, lights, remote controls and more. And keep them out of reach of children.
