ths and, although I know "getting a grade ___" is the priority for most students and parents, I think it is equally important to become confident with maths - confident to try, confident to get it wrong and confident to ask questions. Maybe, after building up this self security some students may even decide that they like maths...gosh! I believe in building up a positive relationship between tutor and learner, so I will never judge your mistakes and will probably make some myself! I make an effort to get to know my students and try to make the maths that we do together relative to your life and interests. Tutoring:
Sessions can take place either at my home in Wakefield (just off M1 J40) or I can travel to your home or other convenient place we arrange. I'm also very happy to continue to deliver online tutoring to those who would prefer. This is via MS Teams and I can help you get sorted with a free account and show you what to do. Tutoring is usually one-to-one, for 1 hour, once per week, in the evenings or on a weekend, but I'm happy to be flexible about frequency or group tutoring sessions if you have more than one student studying for the same level qualification. I don't ask for a minimum sign up for lessons and you can decide if it's not for you whenever you like. All I ask is that if you've booked a lesson then you either give 24 hours notice to cancel or you still pay for that time.
