You are my sunshine childminding

Getting outside ready now the weather is picking up more. Still working on our frog theme in our outside water tray, the mud kitchen is always just a fave and making us childminders lots of mud coffees to keep us going. 😊

New month, new learning. Alongside our growing tadpoles the learning wall and frog basket is coming along lovely. Life cycle of a frog 🐸

It’s time for the children to learn the life cycle of a frog. They are very interested with the tadpoles at the minute, watching them squirm about… 5 little speckled frogs 🐸 🎵 🎶

It’s transport month which means we get to look at all the different ways we can get around. Read lots of stories on transport and sing lots of songs

A sensory play for all ages. Creating lots of textures. Using our fishing rods to catch the fish and anything else we can find in our pond. The children also recognised all the colours.

Simple but effective. Creating bunches of roses for our mummies and daddies, sending lots of love ❤️ for Valentine’s Day

Our fishes 🐟 look lovely up on the net wall. The children enjoyed placing the different colours onto their own fish and making it look tropical 🌴

Our curriculum and learning for the month is ‘Under the sea’ we have a great treasure box full of exciting items that the children can explore. Time to open up your imagination. We have a full month of great activities and we are so excited.

Our window/mirror pumpkins... we had fun getting stuck today 😂 the sticky back was just a little too friendly.

We created our own hedgehogs... if only you could see our huge smiley faces... we loved moulding the clay and sticking the small sticks in to create spikes.
