We got all wrapped up and took story time outside today 📖

We enjoyed Percy the Park Keeper on the grass with a hot chocolate to keep warm ☕️

It was a lovely treat and nice to be sat in the sunshine, even if it was pretty cold ⛅️

Feeling proud to have received my certificate from FAB today confirming I’m a breastfeeding friendly place 🤱

My certificate and sticker will be proudly displayed ✨

Absolutely loved setting this autumn tray up this week 🧡

We had little toadstools and peg dolls hidden in dried leaves and acorns 🍁

They all had the best time scrunching and crunching the leaves and then we added in some scissors to chop all the leaves up ✂️

All of them enjoyed chopping up the leaves and made little games with the peg dolls and toadstools 🍄

I enjoyed the clean up from all the tiny bits of leaves when they’d finished 😂🧹🤦🏻‍♀️

There has been lots of colouring the last couple of days 🖍️

On Monday they all decided they wanted to do some woodland animal colouring 🦊

We have continued that today and had plenty of animals to chose from and free access to all the colours 🎨

Everyone had a turn and really enjoyed taking themselves away for some colouring whenever they wanted 🦔

As always, the ice cream truck featured in our day 🍦The two littlest were so sweet playing together ✨

Poppy handprint picture ✋🏼

All the girls did so well today to make their poppy pictures, they used paint and glue and stuck everything on themselves!

Super spooky pumpkins by everyone today 🎃🕷️🦇

What can you find in the spooky witches cauldron 🧙‍♀️

Today we used recycled paper from packages to make a cauldron and hid scary bugs in there 🕷️🪰🪱

The little ones used tongs and scoops to find all the bugs and extended their play to colour sorting and then wig making!!

They had so much fun, and I love all the bright colours on the tray ⚫️🟣🟠

Today has been a magical summer potion making day 🪄

We used some flowers and picked the heads and petals, herbs, citrus peels and added them to lemon water, it all smelt lovely 🍋

They used some sticks to mix it all up and made the water really bubbly 🫧

They all had a brilliant time and did really great sharing ✨

Making friends with a snail in the sunshine 🐌😎🍦

Sharing a Shell was so much fun 🪸

We read the story and then made our own creatures to fit in our seashells 🐚

Some of the children squished the shells into the playdoh to see what patterns they made!

They all got their little fingers working by rolling and squeezing all the shapes and shared everything so nicely 🌟

Today was the return of the sunshine and return of the ice creams!!

It was also girls day today so we decided to use our .babs galphabet cards to look at what other awesome things all the girls could be 🎉

A couple of them had watched the lionesses last night and footballer was a popular choice ⚽️🥳
