The children have really enjoyed filling their snow globes today, with "magical snow", sequins and glitter.

Here at Park View HQ, we adore books! - from shared story times both inside and outside, to encouraging the children to find joy when they independently select books, that they can then explore and enjoy.

This helps children to develop early literacy skills as well as their
Physical development, communication and language skills, sometimes numeracy skills too as well as personal social and emotional development - It's important that as an early years setting, we enable the children in our care, to have access to a wide range rich texts that promote a love of reading. This also helps the children to develop a broader understanding of the world.

Here, one of our little ones enjoys a book about mini beasts, and she is also able to trace lines and shapes with her finger, and point to things she sees as we name them.

If you claim your funded hours for childcare, please ensure that if you need to reconfirm your eligibility via childcare choices, the deadline is the 31st of December for the spring term which starts the 6th of Jan 2025

If you don't reconfirm or have a valid code by the 31st of December, the local authority will not provide funded hours for your little one in the January 2025 spring term, so please take a few moments to check if your code needs to be reconfirmed on childcare choices website asap

- this includes funding codes for all age groups.

Dear families, its that time of year again, where we ask you to send in - rubber bottom velcro slippers - for your child to wear whilst in our setting.

Ive recently seen that Home Bargains has this style in store at a very good price.

The reason we ask for rubber bottom velcro Style, is that the children walk from the cabin to the house for activities and to use the toilet, and without the rubber bottom their feet will get wet 👣🌧 and the rubber bottom is better on our laminate floor for non slip purposes 👍

Also, this velco style is easy for the children to enable them to be independant in putting on their own footwear ❤️👍🏻
Which is good for their physical development too.👍

If you could send some in asap that would be great please ❤️

Being a childminder is.... a walk in the park ❤️❤️❤️

It was a beautiful morning for a walk in the park, now that autumn is here.

We are a little bit late sharing Mr Park View' most recent creation!

But here it is, his bespokely designed play house and mud kitchen duplex area.

This has been lovingly designed and built from scratch by Mr Park View and is completely unique to Park View Childminding and early years consultancy.

Kevin designed and built this project from 95% recycled materials, making something completely new and utterly Wow, rather than adding used materials to landfill.

The grass topped balance blocks were also made by Mr Park View ❤️

The children absolutely adore this new space.......but do tell us what you think too :-)

Thank you to all those who sent get well wishes for Kevin (Mr Park View), whilst he is poorly in hospital.
Please keep your fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.
We are just waiting to see if he needs surgery 💔

A trip to the park today to look at the changes we can see at this time of year.

We noticed some leaves are beginning to fall, and we spoke about the types of trees that drop their leaves; the children learnt a new word "Deciduous" :- meaning a tree or bush that drops (sheds) its leaves each year.

We had a lovely time in the play area
and we managed to stay ahead of the rain too 🤩

And we collected leaves (and a few freshly fallen conkers) and we created some leaf rubbing pictures, with the leaves we collected today too.

It's the end of an era again at Park View HQ, as two of our amazing little ones move on to school 💔

We can honestly and whole heartedly say that we have loved every single second of loving and caring for these special children.

We have been as welcomed into your families as we have welcomed you into ours!
Special and everlasting bonds of friendship and care have been forged, all whilst having the absolute privilage of being able to be a part of the story of these amazing children.

They seem so grown up this week as we have said goodbye, and I feel comforted to know that we will stay in touch and continue to share in those precious moments in your family and your little ones lives.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for allowing us to care for your children in those precious early years.

And thank you for our amazing gifts too ❤️ you are too kind ❤️
