🐝 We visited a real beehive and learned all about bees and why they are so important to our world. The children enjoyed exploring the hive, taking part in bee-themed activities, and of course tasting some delicious honey! 🍯

🐝 Fun Fact: It takes the lifetime work of around 12 bees to make just one teaspoon of honey!

A wonderful day of learning about these amazing little pollinators. 💛🖤 🐝🍯

🍦 What a fantastic time had at our pretend ice cream shop! Using cloud dough as our “ice cream”, the children scooped, served, took payments and enjoyed lots of imaginative role play. They loved creating their own ice cream combinations and serving their friends and customers. 😊

Today we released the butterflies we have been caring for and watching grow from tiny caterpillars. 🦋

The children loved seeing their amazing transformation and were excited to watch them fly away. A very special moment for us all! ✨

We had a roarsome day full of dinosaur fun! 🦖

The children loved getting stuck into icy dinosaur excavations, discovering hidden fossils, making crunchy “dinosaur snacks,” and creating their own delicious dinosaur fruit parcels 🍓🍌

Lots of imagination, messy play, and dino-sized excitement all round! 🦕

Today we went foraging for bright yellow dandelions 🌼
They picked the flowers, then we brought them back to wash and de-petal to make dandelion and orange muffins 🍊
They loved weighing, mixing and squeezing the oranges—finishing with a tasty treat! ✨

A lovely morning at our intergenerational group at the care home 💛

The children enjoyed sharing songs, smiles, and special moments with the residents, followed by some fun in the sun at a nearby park ☀️🌳

We had a lovely St George’s Day celebrating with castles and dragons 🐉🏰

The children got creative making their own, then headed off on a quest to a real castle—becoming knights and adventurers along the way!
