We will spend lots of time in the outdoor in our local countryside with fun based walks we have a locally, in the local small playground which we can get to through the local woodland due to my principle of commitment to the Forest Childcare Association all year round, visiting local run playgroup centres with other childminders with their children & occasional days out especially during school holidays. My family who are very supportive & helpful in all I do, So much so both my family have now become Ofsted registered assistants , so they can help on a voluntary basis, only if they are available due to their own work & educational commitments. I live in a 3 bed roomed bungalow with a secure garden in the outskirts of rural village in Netherton near Wakefield with very close links to the M1 motorway system (local towns i.e. Wakefield, Ossett, Dewsbury, Barnsley & cities i.e. Leeds, Sheffield) & beautiful rural setting with lovely walks & only 5 minute walk to the local Primary school: Netherton Junior & Infant school. Services I offer:
childcare for all ages from Birth upwards till they are ready for school nursery
from September 2026 I am open Monday – Thursday
My core hrs are 7.30am – 5.30pm Monday - Thursday Term Time Only
And due to less demand I only when care is required in School holiday. As of September 2024 I no longer offer a Local School Pick up drop off service for school age children from Netherton Junior & infant School . I don't offer care or work any Bank Holiday especially Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Years Days. EYFS Children & Nursery school aged children I charge a hourly rate of £6 per hour moving a £6.50 per hour from September 2026
Offer the government & local Authority funding from 9 month up wards. Qualifications:
Local Authority Childminding Course, Paediatric First Aid Course with Epi Pen Training , Level 2 Food safety & Hygiene Course with Food allergy training
Children’s Safeguarding Course,
Enhanced DBS check for me & family
Plus Regular ongoing training
Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People in Workforce completed in 9months
Level 3 in Supervising First Aid For Mental Health
