Our babies are now exploring their new homely space outside ! They are all enjoying pottering around the kitchen in the shade!
I wonder if they will be able to make us a pumpkin pie by Autumn! Bows have been busy growing pumpkins and strawberries in our decked growing area, and Wrappers are growing some onions ! 🍓🎃🌰 🍓🎃🌰

It has been a whole year since our oldest children started brushing their teeth again at nursery. We have recieved our one year certificate from the Wakefield Supervised Toothbrushing scheme ! 😁😁🪥🪥 Healthy mouth, strong teeth, happy smiles !😁🪥🪥

Hip hip hooray! Our little lending library is now open! Please feel free to let your child take a look, and choose a book 📖 📚🤩

It's official !! We have maintained a 'Good' grading in all areas in our latest inspection. The report should be live on the Ofsted website in the coming days and I will drop a link in the comments 😃. It was a long, intense day but couldn't be prouder of our wonderful team 🥰

🌎 📚World Book Day 2024 has been lots of fun. The children all looked amazing and spent lots of time enjoying stories. The Hungry Caterpillar was fully embraced in the cabin 🤣! We also had a few more butterflies, Where's Wally, a dalmation and Wilbur the cat from the team 🥰📚📖.

Thank you so much to all of our families who attended our art gallery event yesterday! We were so pleased with the number of familes who came along! It was such a busy event in all three rooms! It was amazing for key staff to be able to speak with parents about their children in a relaxed way. The children had been so excited all day to show their families their work. I hope you all got as much out of it as we did 🤩 🖌 🎨

It is now the perfect time to think whether toys coming into your home at Christmas time are safe. However, button batteries can be found in so many products as the second poster shows. ⚠️

Happy Halloween everyone 👻🎃👻🎃
It has been a quiet, but spookily fun day here today! All three rooms have had sensory fun with their pumpkins (and the adults enjoyed carving them 🎃🤣). There has also been scary playdough, Halloween songs for dancing, spooky sticking and printing pictures and ghost skittles 👻!

This afternoon our kitchen had a visit by Wakefield Environmental Health. We are very pleased to announce that we have retained a 5 star hygiene rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

Free"Grow Wild" summer Healthy Happy Holidays camps, for children aged 8 to 11 years old in Hemsworth, Kettlethorpe and South Kirkby available during August.

We absolutely love this area now! Wrappers picked their strawberries and radishes yesterday and Bows have spent time observing how their plants are growing today! Thankyou Grow Wakefield and the One Stop Shop 🥰🍓🥬🫛🍓🥒

At the end of January 2023, 13 members of the team spent their Saturday completing their Paediatric First Aid training.
We hope we never have to use any of the skills we have learnt for serious injuries and illness; but it is a comfort to know we are trained .
