It was such a privilege to be invited by Maria to host a tap workshop, and it was amazing to have so many talented kids tapping with me! It's also great to be tapping again after my foot surgery. More workshops coming soon!
Jenna Stephenson - Black Friday
Better late than never! We filmed this back in April and silly me always kept forgetting to post it! So while I'm away in Scotland for Easter and life is nice and relaxed, I had some time to post!
I'm super proud of Jenna, and so thankful she has stuck with me for all these years, from helping her get into CAPA, to helping her with her audition material from drama school, I'm so glad to be a part of her journey!

Thank you so much to everyone who came! I was so so impressed with you all, and feel so grateful to have some amazing tappers take my class. I truly believe tap is underrepresented in the north, and there's not enough training for it!

MORE DETAILS TO FOLLOW - KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED
It's been too long since my last workshop, but after a bit of interest, and a boost in confidence, I've decided to put on another one!
Tap is so underappreciated in the dance world, and I'm always a big advocate for everyone doing tap, which is why I've split up the class a bit differently. I've put the grades on as a guideline.
- Beginners is for anyone with a bit of tap experience, who wants to learn a bit of choreography with some new steps thrown in.
- Experienced is for those with quite a bit of tap experience under their belt and wants to be challenged with some tricky choreography.
Timings to follow later today or tomorrow, so keep your eyes peeled!
Haven't posted on here in a while!
I've been super busy with work so haven't had much time for singing or tap lessons, but I did manage to squeeze in some time to teach the amazing ! And I am so glad I did! Pixie took time out of her busy schedule on the Matilda UK tour for some tap lessons with me, and I was blown away by how good she was! Here's a little video of a short routine I choreographed her. We only spent approximately an hour on this routine, as I took the rest of the lessons to refine technique and work on some new, challenging steps to push Pixie! I also had to keep in Pixie's intro and outro, as it perfectly summarises her as a person 😁
I am always accepting new students for both singing and tap lessons, more information can be found on my profile.

PRIVATE TAP LESSONS
I'm wanting to get some teaching experience to help with my DDE (teaching qualification studies)! I absolutely adore tap and love teaching it, so it would mean the world to be able to share my passion! DM me for more details!

Jenna has only been doing tap on and off for around 6 months, and already she has made insane progress! Here's a short dance I choreographed, and she picked it up so well, despite the tricky 6/8 rhythm (we spent a lot of this lesson on technique, hence why this routine is very short 😅)
