Today has been a training day refreshing my Designated Safeguarding Lead training, updating my knowledge and gaining new information that I will be implementing into our practice 🥰

Happy New Year everyone!! I hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas!! Our playroom went back to it's roots for 2 weeks and enjoyed being a dining room 🥰🥰 but don't worry normal service will resume from tomorrow!! We are looking forward to seeing everyone & welcoming a few new friends too! We also want to wish our friends that are moving on and starting at School nursery lots of love, you will have the best time!! Here is to lots of fun and adventures together in 2026 ❤️❤️❤️

I have spent the past 2 days in the woods for my first 2 days of Forest School assessment. The weather has been perfect and it has been fab getting back using tools and practising all the skills ready for next weekend where we will be assessed delivering a Forest school session, cooking a meal on the fire and making a piece of furniture 🥰 fingers crossed this goes well and I can submit my portfolio and hopefully become a qualified Forest school leader early next year and get back into Luna Woods 💖💖 Thank you to all the wonderful ladies on the course & Nina Garner Outdoor Education for being an amazing lady and trainer.

Team work makes the dream work!! Nicola Ward and I have spent our Sunday re setting the room. To make it more accessible to our new cohort of children, whilst still thinking of our current children and their interests. Not quite finished but I think we did a good job 🥰🥰🥰

Celebrating Ofsted, Christmas and end of summer 🥂🥂 Finally!!! 🤣🤣

That's the summer holidays done for us 🤩Just a few pics of what we have been up to! We have had a super emotional week saying goodbye to our little friends that are leaving to start their School and Nursery journeys. The majority of them have been with us since day 1 so we are going to miss them all so much 🥹❤️
I just want to say a big thank you. Personally it has been quite a tricky year for me after losing my beautiful dad in March, but the support from all our lovely families has kept me going and getting to spend time with all the wonderful children has been the best distraction plus all the cuddles have definitely helped too ❤️ Thank you also to my amazing friend/ colleague Nicola Ward for being there when I needed you we all love you. I am lucky to have the best family and friends around me. We are looking forward to welcoming our current children plus some new Luna recruits in September. For now everyone cross your fingers that the sun keeps shining for next week so I dont have to help put up a tent in the rain 🤣☀️ enjoy the rest of the summer 🩷
