Level 2 Equine students recently had Annalise Butler, a Freelance Rider and Instructor visit campus🐴

She chatted about how she got into the industry, the qualifications she needed as well as a where her passion started! 🌟

It was great for the students to see what they could do after college!🤩

We had a great Open Event on Saturday🤩

It was amazing to see so many new faces exploring their options at Askham Bryan College🐾

Our Wakefield students often travel to our York campus to work in our Wildlife and Conservation Park with animals like our otters😍

At the weekend our students visited the National Police Dog Trials at Nostell Priory 🐶

It was fantastic to meet so many people interested in our Animal Management, Equine, and Sports courses available at our Wakefield centre! 🐐🐴🏋️

Recently our students have been developing skills in puppy husbandry, handling, feeding, grooming and bathing. This taught them how to work calmly and professionally with young dogs🛁🐾

As well as bringing lots of smiles and wellbeing boosts to both staff and students, the day was also a fantastic practical learning opportunity🐶
