Oh my! 🤦🏻‍♀️😂😂

This empty wooden box has been one of the children’s most played with resources this week 😂😂

L and W have been enjoying the books together this morning 🥰

Today the children asked if I could help them make an airplane. We worked together to create one using the wooden blocks, and then the children gathered their “passengers”.
Z tried to pick the airplane up to fly it and said “oh no the wings have fallen”.

Yesterday I observed R for quite some time, placing rubber eggs in cups, taking them back out again, and repeating the process. After a while he put one in each cup and pretended to pour from the jug. He then got two wooden blocks and positioned them side by side, placed the cups and jug on them and then looked at me proudly and said “I made you a cup of tea Emma, it’s on a tray” 🥹
R’s concentration and engagement throughout his self-led task were just so wonderful to see.

Snot on my pants, warm little hugs, giggles over me singing, something sticky stuck to my shoe, yelling because they can, being completely overstimulated, and little smiles as they wave goodbye at the end of the day.
