Some of these might be unpopular, maybe even a little controversial BUT I honestly think you need to know them.
If you go into birth without preparing, you are likely to find it a lot harder, or even live up to the age old narrative that it is one of the worst experiences of your life.
But honestly, with good birth prep, it doesn't have to feel that way at all.
It really can be a beautiful, positive experience, yes, still hard, I will never tell anyone birth isn't hard work, but it can be amazing too! And that makes a huge difference to how you experience the postpartum period too.
You matter, your birth matters!
