We had a surprise a visit in assembly this morning from some very talented year 11 students who specially crafted a crochet star for each student and a crochet angel for each year group! We were very impressed and every student loved their surprise gift ! 🌟 🎄

Yesterday, our classes took part in the Santa Dash to help raise money for charity. Everyone loved all of the different festive themed obstacle courses and worked as a team to complete them all! A huge well done to everyone. 🌟

In the afternoon we had a magical surprise visit from Santa Claus! 🎅🎁 They explored Santa's Yorkshire-themed grotto, received gifts, and shared a chat with the jolly man himself!

What an inspiring assembly this morning! We kicked off by celebrating our Stars of the Week — students from each year group who have worked incredibly hard and truly deserve special recognition. 🌟We were also joined by a surprise guest, Ernie the Owl 🦉, who came to congratulate our amazing students for raising over £6,000 for Leeds Children's Hospital Charity!

Proud moments all around! Well done to everyone for your hard work and dedication! 🙌

Our Year 1 students had an absolute blast practicing and performing their nativity! 🎄✨ They truly lit up the stage with their fantastic singing and acting. The costumes added the perfect touch to the whole performance, and a huge thank you to all the parents and family members who attended – you made this festive event even more special! 🎭🎅

Our FS2 students brought the Christmas spirit to life with their spectacular Nativity performance! After weeks of hard work, their beautiful singing and acting captivated the audience. From perfecting their lines to rehearsing their songs, the children put on a brilliant performance! 🌟🎤. The hall was filled with laughter, joy, and festive cheer as they all shone on stage. A huge congratulations to FS2 for their outstanding effort – you were all stars! 🌟🎄✨

Our Head Boy and Girl teams spent Thursday evening decorating the tree and judging the tree topper competition. They were all very festive and amazingly designed, a big Congratulations to 🌟Beaux🌟 from year 2 , who won the competition. It was very hard to choose a winner! It is always a pleasure to spend time with this group and see them supporting one another in their leadership roles and helping other students around school. 🎄

🎄✨ Our Head Boy and Girl team, along with a talented team of students, did an amazing job decorating the Christmas tree today! Well done to all involved. This proved to be an exciting and festive time in school! 🎅🎁☃️🎄

Yesterday, our students joined their parents for a festive workshop packed with creativity and fun! From designing their own wrapping paper and getting involved in all kinds of merry activities, it was a morning of learning, laughter, and making memories. 🎁 🎄

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our incredible student, Isla took home 3rd place 🎖️ at the English Theatre Dance Championships! Her resilience, bravery, and undeniable talent truly shone through on the day, making this achievement even more special. We couldn't be prouder of her . 💃

Our students in early morning care enjoy fun activities designed to foster meaningful connections and strengthen friendships. It’s truly heartwarming to witness our pupils thrive as they build lasting relationships that will support them throughout their school journey.

'Wakefield Girls' are delighted to host their annual Christmas Fayre on Thursday 12th December, this year in support of . All welcome - a warm and festive welcome awaits. ☃️🎄

Years 1 and 2 enjoyed workshops created by SCARF where they had the opportunity to learn more about their health and wellbeing. In this workshop SCARF provides high quality , inspiring enrichment activities which help to develop essential life skills. A big thank you to who ran this engaging and informative workshop with us.
