This week, our Year 6 children have been putting their scientific thinking to the test as part of our Animals Including Humans topic! 🐾

We carried out an exciting experiment to investigate whether yeast is a living organism and explored the fascinating world of microorganisms. The children made predictions, observed changes, discussed their findings and used scientific vocabulary to explain what they thought was happening.

It was fantastic to see the children working collaboratively, asking thoughtful questions and developing their understanding through practical investigation. 🧑‍🔬👩‍🔬
