🧺🧸 National Picnic Day 🍓

Today we celebrated National Picnic Day with a teddy bears’ picnic, with the children bringing in their favourite teddies to join the fun. 🧸

A big thank you to Mitch, our chef, who made delicious homemade yoghurt and berry lollies for the children to enjoy. Activities like this help children develop positive relationships with food, encouraging healthy eating habits from an early age. Homemade snacks are a great way to introduce nutritious ingredients while showing that healthy choices can be tasty and enjoyable too. 🍇 🍋‍🟩

It was a lovely opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, share a special treat with friends and create happy memories together. ☀️🧸🍓💚

⚽🏆 World Cup Fun at Nursery! 🏆⚽

The babies enjoyed getting into the spirit of the World Cup by creating their own football kits. Wearing white babygrows, they splashed coloured water to design unique team shirts ready to cheer on their teams!⚽️

This fun sensory activity encouraged creativity, exploration and plenty of smiles as the children experimented with colours and patterns to make their own special kits. 🤩

🩸❤️ World Blood Donor Day ❤️🩸

Today our children explored World Blood Donor Day through caring for baby dolls and talking about hospitals, doctors, nurses and how people can be helped when they are unwell. 🤧

The children showed fantastic care and compassion as they looked after their babies, giving cuddles, comfort and lots of love. We talked about how hospitals help people get better. ♥️

Although our children are still too young to donate blood and understand fully, they are already learning one of the most important lessons of all — that caring for others can make a big difference. It was wonderful to see them adapting this important learning through their play and developing empathy and kindness from such a young age. ❤️👶🏥

🌙✨ Baby Sound Spa✨🌙

Today, we welcomed the wonderful Boost Yoga to nursery to deliver a relaxing Baby Sound Spa session for our children. 💙

The babies enjoyed a calm and soothing environment filled with gentle sounds, soft music and sensory experiences designed to promote relaxation and wellbeing.❤️

These sessions provide a lovely opportunity for little ones to unwind, explore new sounds and enjoy a peaceful moment in a nurturing setting. It was wonderful to see the children so engaged, settled and relaxed throughout the experience.🥰
