I hope you’ve all had a lovely Christmas ❤️💚

Can’t wait to be back with you all 📚 I will be messaging all my clients with availability as next week is the first week back and there will be lots to get sorted for Spring 1 term 👩🏼‍🏫

So proud of Keon for getting 10/10 on his spelling test this week ❤️

Just proves practice makes perfect and he smashed it in our session Tuesday I knew he’d do the same in school 🌟

Cerys welcome to the Class with Miss Kent clan 🤩

Cerys started her first session with me this week and she was brilliant!! We did an initial baseline of times table practice and we soon realised 6s, 8s and 12s were our practice ones every week (I never liked those either when I was at school).

She was so willing to complete every task and I think she’s going to make brilliant progress just in time for SATS 👏🏼

Onto fractions next week 👍🏽

Weekly spelling session with Keon, creating nonsense and real words using the phonics cards to then doing look, cover, write and check which Keon scored 10/10 this week 😍😍😍😍

We then put them in silly sentences which Keon loves to do and to finish off the session he was so giddy to do his timetables practice ❤️

Oh stan stan stan 😍

Stan has come SO far with his English over the past weeks. This idea to create our own story was so random and off the cuff and it’s turned into a proper creative session after just doing different sentence types and as soon as Stan got the hack of them we came up with the idea to incorporate some of the sentences we created through different types and put them in a short story. We’ve planned it, corrected and edited it, drafted it and now Stan is currently writing his final draft using the corrections we spotted together which I CAN’T WAIT TO READ NEXT WEDNESDAY 🌟

The fact that he has wanted to do this in his own time after our sessions to make it perfect has not only shown his passion for his story but also how far he has come in regards to Literacy 🥺

I am so so proud of you Stanley and I know everyone else is too ❤️

p.s I think we can all guess what his story is about 🤣

All I can say is WOW 🤩 actually reflecting on how this little extra side business came from me helping my first ever client just once a week through the holidays last year to now having fully booked evenings through the week aswell teaching my own class every day and it’s all because of my unbelievable clients and their supportive parents so just want to say a massive thank you for being fabulous and for keeping me so busy ❤️
