Today included carving our pumpkins and Halloween stencil drawings 🎃🎃🎃🎃
Loved our autumn walk yesterday 🍁🍂🍁🍂
The past few weeks we have been concentrating on our colours and recognising them all over the play room.
Last week we started our Halloween crafts, all the children loved painting their feet to make witches and tearing tissue paper up for their pumpkins.
Between all of this P and W love singing different nursery rhymes and dancing to the songs on the tv.
The past few weeks has gone so fast I keep forgetting to update with all the things we have been doing.
We started off with finger painting our own fallen autumn trees.
All the children really enjoyed this creative activity and loved using all the different colours to form their leaves.
We always enjoy a little trip to the garden centre so the children can go in the play gym.
Next all the children played with shredded paper and tried to find all the animals they had hid.
And not to mention the autumn walks we have before picking the children up from school.
🍂🍁
This week we have enjoyed learning about different animals and the noises they make.
P wanted the spot tray out, she independently placed different animals into this and I covered it with shredded paper.
W turned round and said the animals are hiding.
All the children spent along period of time finding the animals and hiding them again.
On Wednesday we took a trip to the park and enjoyed walking round, looking at the stream, having a picnic and looking at all the different birds. ☀️☀️
Thursday we had another settling session with A. All the girls loved fussing over him, we all can’t wait till next week when we can make even more memories 💙
This weeks theme is animals chosen by our children themselves.
🐷🐮🫏🐂
We all enjoy visiting the farm and seeing all the different animals and feeding them.
This week we are going to complete different activities around animals.
Keep your eyes open for the posts!
Well 3 and 4 completed.
Week 3 involved-
Train to Leeds for the monopoly on Monday with a cheeky mcds thrown in there.
The rest of the week included lots of park play, woods, picnics including their teddies 🧸🧸
And finished off with berry picking before the rain kicked in.
Week 4-
Princess and pirate party/picnic at the park.
More berry picking and lots of walks and exploring the different parts of the village.
Now to a well earned rest and a week off with my family before heading into the last week of the holidays.
When we head into September I am looking forward to our little family expanding and welcoming some more little kiddies to join us 😍😍
Week 2 completed.
We have been so busy this week and took so many photos.
Tuesday we completed our own mini olymipcs at the park.
Wednesday was a park and picnic day.
Thursday we made bath bombs, jewellery and had a trip to the park.
Friday it was breeze day so a few hours on bouncing castles, making Lego, and many more things.
Roll on next week where we can make more memories ❤️❤️
1st week completed.
Park, picnics, farm, slides, woods, feeding animals and many more things.
We had such an amazing 1st week of the holidays.
Next week is even more jam packed fun.
☀️☀️☀️
Oh how much fun we all had yesterday.
Sun, park, picnic, collecting sticks and many more things.
I love watching all the children form a stronger relationship with their friends every day.
Roll on the 6 week holidays for extra fun in the sun 😍😍
Who can build the biggest tower?
Playing with building blocks offers young children the opportunity to develop logical thinking skills, early mathematical skills, hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
The children of all different ages loved making different sized towers, some of the same colour and some of the same sized blocks.
G was able to identify whose tower was the biggest and smallest.

A mixture of my children’s interests today.
Dinosaurs and messy play!
The children enjoyed using the dinosaurs to mark make different marks from the dinosaurs feet.
“Look Abby they are small feet, and these ones are big”.
“We’ve got big and small ones.”
🦖🦖🦖
Lots of creative play yesterday due to the rain.
All the children loved playing with the pirate ship and played with the jigsaws for a long period of time.
This was especially good for the children’s fine motor skills, hand and eye coordination and all the older ones helped the little ones, great team work ❤️❤️🧩🧩
What’s for breakfast.
🍒🍓🍇🍎
Every morning the children love to help cut up there fruit and pour out their cereal ❤️❤️
Wonder what these 2 are going to be when they are older?
I love just sitting back and watching the children exploring all the toys and love to see how imaginative they can be.
