🔢 Fantastic Maths in Years 3 and 4:
➗ The children have been exploring how to write halves and quarters as both fractions and decimals — and the understanding and confidence they demonstrated was absolutely brilliant!
🤩 It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm and progress in the room amongst our superstar mathematicians!

🫓🍷 Year 4's First Holy Communion journey:
🤲 On Saturday, nine of our Year 4 children received their First Holy Communion, welcoming Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time
🙏 As a school family, we are incredibly proud of them and grateful to all those who supported them on this special journey of faith; may God continue to bless and guide them as they grow in His love

🏃💨 Secondary taster PE session:
5️⃣ Year 5 were delighted to welcome a PE teacher from St Thomas à Becket’s and had a fantastic time taking part in an exciting taster PE session, full of energy, teamwork and joy
🤝 We're so grateful to the PE teacher for coming to see us; it was wonderful for the children to experience the activities and spirit of our feeder school community within the Trust

🎉 They did it… SATs are officially finished!
🥲 We are incredibly proud of every single child for the attitude they displayed throughout SATs week
🤩 We live by our 3 Rs — Respect, Responsibility and Resilience — and our pupils demonstrated all three in abundance every single day
💪 They approached each test with determination, maturity and positivity, truly rising to each challenge. A big well done from all our staff!

🎽👟 Postgate's fun in PE:
🏃 This week in Postgate, the children have had a fantastic time in PE!
Working independently, in pairs, and in groups, they took on a range of challenges that built their confidence and resilience, all while staying active and having fun!
🤝 It was wonderful to see such great teamwork and encouragement

⛪ Learning about God's house:
✝️ This week in Early Years, we’ve been learning all about God’s house – the church
👋 The children explored what they might find inside and shared thoughtful ideas about how everyone is welcome there
🧱 They then built their own churches using bricks, remembering to include a door to show that God’s house is always open

⚱️ Getting creative with clay!
4️⃣ Class Four have been exploring how to prepare clay by pressing, squeezing and rolling, and practised the ‘score and slip’ technique to join pieces securely
🪷 They then had a go at shaping their own petals—great teamwork and fantastic effort all round!
