So proud of this Team. It’s been a tricky team, but they’ve been so resilient throughout. The commitment from these young people has been incredible; such eager beavers that they kept turning in on their days off!

Going to miss you guys. I know you’ll smash it at your next destinations. You’ve made me, Selina and Cath belly laugh all the way through. What a fun team you lot have been 😊

Time really does fly - it’s the first week of Team Three!

As always, some Prince’s Trust classics have been brought out with Spaghetti Tower and Balloon Chair.

These lot have smashed it - quite literally with Spaghetti Tower 😂

Our legendary Youth Lead popped down today as well to introduce herself and do a couple of activities. Somehow, she made “counting to three” as difficult as abseiling down Mount Everest in flip flops.

It’s been a fun week so far - let’s have a good finish to the week 🙂

Almost finished our community project!

Our teams been hard at work with Appletree Community Garden these past 2 weeks and have made some real progress 😄

Yesterday, our previous team got to pitch the WF-I-CAN Van community project they did to the Children’s Commissioner team and various Wakefield support groups!

Today, our current team braved the mud (and the swans) by walking around Pudsey and Sandal. This was to fundraise for their upcoming community project - joined by our lovely Head of Department 😄

It’s been a busy week but the Team have been working hard.

Big thank you to Team 1 and Young Lives wakefield for all that you did to make yesterday such a success 😃

Leeds Apprenticeship Recruitment Fair returns to Leeds first direct arena on Monday 5th February 2024. Tickets are available to book anytime between 1pm-7pm. Everyone is welcome and the event is free to attend. Over 100 exhibitors will be there on the day offering information, advice, guidance and live vacancies. Visitors will have the opportunity to find out about apprenticeships, including what they involve and how they work, as well as higher and degree apprenticeships.
