Day 1 of Biography Retreat got off to a cracking start with a stop for hot choccy at Thurrock Services (I prefer Cobham, myself but NEVER Clacket Lane) and a visit to an animal park and aquarium! ☕🚗🚌🚐🐧🦋🐠

We’re excited to announce that Café Mount will be opening its doors at in Hawkhurst every Monday and Friday from 15 June to 17 July 2026, from 11:00am–3:00pm! ☕🍰
Come along and enjoy a warm welcome in the beautiful setting of the walled garden while supporting our amazing students as they develop their hospitality and customer service skills.
Our talented students will be freshly preparing and serving:
✨ Hot and cold drinks
✨ Homemade cakes and sweet treats
✨ Delicious light lunches
This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to build confidence, gain real-life work experience, and share their hard work with the wider community.
Whether you’re stopping by for a coffee, meeting friends for lunch, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings, we’d love to see you there!

Today we celebrated Ascension - a day to reflect upon the tangible becoming intangible 🪽 We looked at artistic representations of the Ascension event, our choir sang 3 beautiful songs for us, we shared sandwiches together, hunted for dandelion puffballs, meditated upon and painted the clouds. In Goethe's words: "To find yourself in the infinite,you must distinguish and then combine; Therefore my winged song thanks the man who distinguished cloud from cloud." ☁️

You might be used to seeing us at The Bell but on the 6th and 7th of May from 11:30-3pm cohousers and students will be at Royal Victoria Place Shopping Centre in Tunbridge Wells with candles, pottery, weavery and bakery items for you to buy! 🧵🍰🥧🕯️🏺🏷️🛒🛍️ Don't miss out ☀️
