Y3 have made a fantastic start to the new academic year, settling into routines and embracing new challenges with enthusiasm and confidence.
In English, the children have explored poetry and developed their creative writing skills, while in Maths they have strengthened their number fluency and mental arithmetic. In RE, they have reflected on God’s creation and created beautiful paintings inspired by the wonder of the natural world.
In Science, the children investigated the human skeleton and muscles, exploring whether taking part in more sporting activities can make us stronger. In Geography, they learned about the layers of the rainforest and the plants and animals that live within them.
We are particularly proud of the kindness, perseverance and teamwork shown by Y3. They have welcomed new classmates, supported one another and embraced opportunities in sport and pupil leadership. Well done, Year 3!
