We had such a super preschool party today ❤️
AJ was fantastic as always and we all had some much fun. It has been a wonderful year and has been an absolute pleasure to work with your children everyday and have them as part of our VCEY family. We look forward to another fantastic year to come and wish all our school leavers the absolute best at big school. One more day of fun tomorrow 🌈 and then we hope you all have the best summer ❤️🌈

We had the most incredible Toddler party today, themed perfectly for our transport loving little ones!
The children had so much fun diving into the ball pit, burying themselves in the balls, matching shapes to build diggers with our soft play blocks, and exploring the soft play obstacle course.
The biggest hit of the day had to be the air blowers! Watching the balls float through the air was simply magical, and it wasn't long before the children discovered they could use the air to blow on each other too... cue lots of giggles! 😂
It's been such a wonderful year watching our little ones grow in confidence, reach new milestones, and create so many special memories together. We can't wait to welcome new families and continue the fun when we return in September.

We had another exceptional week at VCEY this week with messy play, sing and sign, baking, birthdays, lots of large water play, being pirates and ofcourse our fantastic trip to Robin's Nest!
We hope you are all having a wonderful weekend and we look forward to some end of term fun from tomorrow with our parties 🎉🌈

This year in our School leaver bags they have their personalised registration peg doll to keep as well as some very gorgeous crochet donkey key rings made by our very talented Jo. Jody has also made them a card each with a little personalised poem inside as an extra keepsake.
We will give these out to our school leavers after our party on Monday!! ❤️🌈🫏

🌟 What an incredible day we had at The Robin's Nest! 🌟

Our children had the BEST time exploring everything the play area had to offer. They climbed, slid, bounced, and laughed their way through the day, with the giant slide, ball pit, and animal hoppers proving to be firm favourites! 💛
We enjoyed a lovely picnic lunch together in the shade, chatting about all the fun we'd already had and getting ready for even more adventures.

The journey there on the double-decker bus was an adventure in itself! 🚌 Downstairs, Beth had everyone singing along, of course The Wheels on the Bus made an appearance! 🎶. While upstairs the children excitedly pointed out animals, tractors, and everything they could spot in the fields. The journey home was a little different... it was wonderfully peaceful, with many tired little explorers fast asleep after such a busy day! 😴

We are incredibly proud of all the children, who were so well behaved throughout the trip and were an absolute pleasure to take out.

A huge thank you to Robin Hill for being such fantastic hosts for our end-of-year celebration and for helping us create such special memories that our children will treasure. ❤️

This Wednesday is our very exciting trip to Robin's Nest on the double decker bus.
Please can we ask that all children wear light long sleeved tops and trousers for protection.

Please can you also bring a named water bottle.

We went and risk assessed the equipment today and it is an immensely fun place- as seen by our laughing faces in the ball pit 😄

Thank you to all the families that attended our fun day today. It was a hot one- but still lots of fun was had. The facepainting looked awesome, Huxley was entertaining and the BBQ food was tasty!

We packed up the event and moved straight onto parents meetings all afternoon. This is a wonderful way to connect and catch up with parents and help foster a supportive relationship.

After that we had our monthly team gathering. This is part of our reflective practice and Continuous Professional Development. We moved it outside to keep cool in the shade and discussed schematic play. We always start these sessions talking about what we are proud of this month.

The staff went above and beyond today so we treated them to a delicious chip shop meal from The Mill Bay / The Plaice to be

Another beautiful sunny day at the Donkey Sanctuary! ☀️🫏 We loved watching the donkeys rolling around in the sunshine—it was lovely to see them so happy! We also enjoyed reading Grinny Granny from the Wonkey Donkey collection while having our snack together. 📚 🫏
With the warm weather, we kept our visit short and sweet to stay safe, but we still had a wonderful time making memories outdoors. 💛
