Want something to do tonight that doesn't cost a penny?

Up Your Improv Isle of Wight is hosting a special two hour 'try before you buy' session tonight at the Ventnor Exchange from 7pm - 9pm.

This gives people who'd like to try improvised comedy the chance to experience an introductory session for free.

Take part in fun warm up games, learn the basics of yes and, no but and perform a short scene with an experienced player.

Free for a laugh? Free for an improv session?

Taking that first step can sometimes be challenging, especially if you are trying something new.

We're running a special 'try before you buy' session where you can experience Up Your Improv Isle of Wight and it won't cost you a penny.

This specific session will be an introduction to Improv where we tackle yes and, no but, warm up games and create a two person scene with an experienced player.

If you haven't been to a session before, now's your chance! Come along on Thursday 3 October from 7pm - 9pm and have a go.

Up Your Improv Isle of Wight is running two introductory sessions at Ventnor Fringe Festival on Saturday 20th July and Sunday 21 July from 3pm - 4:30pm.

Learn about the yes and technique that underpins all Improv. Play games and get a feel for it all.

Session one: Learn the basics of improv, warm up with quick fire games and use the yes and method that underpins all good Improv. Get to grips with techniques that help you generate ideas on the spot with experienced improvisers coaching you.
