Construction role play🚧⛔️🛠
The children will develop their imaginative skills by exploring the blocks, trucks and pretend tools. They will explore protective clothing by wearing the hard hats and high vis. 👷🏻♂️👷🏾♂️👷🏽♀️👷🏼♀️
During this activity the practitioners will support the children’s learning by teaching them about the world around them and the people in the community who help us.

The children are exploring texture and colours in today’s activity. The practitioners used a variety of different materials to encourage the children to explore and begin to identify colours. Throughout the activity the practitioners used keywords to describe the textures which supports the children’s language development ❤️💛💚💙

Take a look at our new black and white area in the sunflower room🌻
We have had a lot of younger children join the setting. Babies vision is stimulated by high-contrasting colours. Our black and white area encourages eye focusing and tracking and also supports brain development.
Our babies spend time in this area throughout the day to support their development👀🧠👀

As some of the children return from the summer holidays and some new friends join us, we are excited to take part in a fun feelings activity☺️😌😁
The children will be sorting the different colour monsters into their correct jars. This activity will help the children to be able to understand their emotions and learn ways to manage them!☺️😁😊
