Uxbridge College Uniformed Services

All uniform service students had to undergo a swimming assessment last week, these tests reflected the assessments they would have to undergo as part of their selection process for a number of uniform services and included treading water for 2 minutes, a 50m swim and recovering a brick from the bottom of the pool. Well done to everyone who took part.

New students working with current students in erecting a tent for the first time, planning and preparation are an essential part of uniform services work especially as students will be away camping in just over a weeks' time.

Welcome to Uxbridge College Uniform Services page. The page is intended to share our student's journey while they study at Uxbridge College and eventually move on to their chosen career or University.

Students returned to college after their summer break, and we have welcomed back old and new faces. The last two weeks have flown by as students settle back into the routine of college life and complete their induction programme which is their opportunity to get a feel for the course, explore our facilities, meet their tutors and fellow class members.

Last week saw all of us living through a moment in history and paying our respects to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Students learnt about her reign and paid their respects.

For the uniform service staff Her Majesty Queen Elzabeth II was our Commander in Chief as we have all served our Queen and Country, so on Monday 19 September 2022, we will pay our respects to Her Majesty in our own way.

We hope students, parents and guardians will use this page to see the journey all of the students are on.
