🎉 OUR OFSTED REPORT IS HERE! 🎉
We are so happy to finally be able to share the results of our recent Ofsted inspection at Happy Hours at Picknalls — and we are incredibly proud to have received ‘Expected Standard’ across the board! ⭐️
We spent a lovely afternoon with two inspectors, and it was a brilliant opportunity to showcase the hard work, care and dedication that goes into making Happy Hours at Picknalls such a special place.
The children were absolutely fantastic. Their behaviour was impeccable, and they loved chatting with the inspectors and sharing their experiences, openly telling them what it is like to be a child at Happy Hours. 🥰
The report is, of course, only a snapshot of the club and one afternoon in our setting — but what a wonderful snapshot it is! ❤️
A massive well done to our whole staff team, led by Helen and Carrie. Your hard work, commitment and care for the children really shines through.
And, of course, a huge well done to our children too! 👏
It is always a little unnerving having someone new in the setting, watching what you are doing and asking questions, so we couldn't be prouder of how everyone handled the afternoon.
💬 Our personal favourite part of the report:
“Staff interact with children in warm and caring ways. They get down to children's level, listen carefully to what children have to say and respond sensitively to their individual needs. Staff adapt their approach to meet children's emotional and sensory needs. They help children with special educational needs and/or disabilities to feel settled and ready to participate. This helps children feel valued, respected and emotionally secure.”
This is exactly what we want Happy Hours to be — a place where children feel valued, respected, listened to and emotionally secure. ❤️
