Wednesday evening George competed in the grand final of the European Championships in Athens for Team GB 🇬🇧
George did brilliantly in such a competitive competition and finished 8th overall.

He shot his best competition score to date of 120/125 which is fantastic as to compete for GB as a junior you are required to shoot at least 113/125 which is known as the minimum qualifying score.
For GB as an adult, the minimum score is 120/125 so George's best shot result hit the senior baseline score, which for George's second international competition is absolutely amazing.

The season has now ended and George's focus over the winter is to train and get ready for 2027!
Well done George, you have done brilliantly 😁

Remember last week when George B in Year 13 had been to Italy to compete in the Junior World Cup for Team GB in clay shooting and was through to the European Championships? - well here is a fantastic update 😀

George is currently in Athens and has done fantastically well so far in the competition.
He has shot 120 out of 125 targets and has made the grand final which is being held later on today.
