The Yr7 and 8 athletes were in action again on Tuesday night at the District athletics in Burton; the night was a County qualifying event. We saw some amazing performances all night on the track and in the field. I am certain a number of students will have been selected for the County Finals, we are awaiting results but as soon as we know them we will share them. Again, another late one but again the pupils were a credit and a pleasure to take. Miss Merrick and Mr Skinner

All 4 houses into the 3000's! Loads of time left and sports day too, so everyone still has a chance of winning it! Mr Skinner

Last week, Year 8 learned how to draw a scaled kitchen in isometric projection in their graphics lessons with Mrs Parkes. What talented graphic designers we have!

The Yr8 girls were in action at the district rounders tournament on Thursday evening. We took teams over for this to give plenty of the girls lots of game time. The girls played some fantastic rounders, especially out in the field where we can see the improvements being made.
The A team were unbeaten during the evening, beating John Taylor High School, Windsor Park, OHMS B and they drew with A. Beyne. The B team beat John Taylor Free School, lost by just a rounder to Windsor Park A and then lost to De Ferrers and OHMS A. Both teams were amazing and had a fantastic attitude to each game they played. Well done girls, Miss Merrick
