Oldfields Hall Middle School

08/10/2026

Oldfields Hall Middle School is joining thousands of schools, companies and communities to raise awareness on Friday 9th October by taking part in (official day is the 10th October), organised by Young Minds.

We are asking students to wear something yellow (alongside their uniform) and make a small donation via the Young Minds website https://www.youngminds.org.uk/

Students can dig out their neon socks, hoodies, ties, scarves and hats - let us show young people they're not alone with their mental health!

Thank you in advance for your support.

A thank you from everyone at Oldfields Hall Middle School!
What a fantastic Open Evening we have had this evening. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along to visit our school, meet our wonderful staff and pupils, and see all that Oldfields has to offer. It was a pleasure to welcome you into our school.
We would also like to say a huge thank you to our incredible pupils. We had over 150 pupil volunteers giving up their evening to be fantastic ambassadors for our school. From welcoming and touring prospective families to demonstrating activities and showcasing our different departments, they represented Oldfields with such confidence, enthusiasm and pride.
We are incredibly proud of every one of you — you truly showed what makes our school such a special place to be.
Thank you to all staff who helped make this evening such a success.

BURTON & DISTRICT CHAMPIONS!!
On Tuesday night the yr6 girls football team travelled to Robert Sutton to play in the District football tournament. The girls played a total of five matches, winning all 5 and not conceding a single goal- Clara our GK only had to take two goal kicks in the whole tournament! There were stunning goals scored and it was a fantastic team effort all evening! They were crowned champions and now move on to the county finals! Well done girls, Miss Merrick
